Some of our happy Graduates!
Jess, SA

Renae is so passionate & professional in her business dealings at Play Therapy SA, and this transfers across to her newer role, as teacher at Play Therapy School. What a wonderful way to combine her experience & utilise her skills to teach others the wonders of Play Therapy. With her background in Education, her years of running her own successful business, & her passion for children's learning journeys, I found Renae to be an excellent role model, mentor & teacher. I hope to continue communications & professional development now having completed this course & successfully gaining a role as a Play Therapist myself. The course itself was easy to navigate and gave a wide view of The world of Play Therapy. The other facilitators are all equally passionate, making this course exciting to be a part of. I highly recommend taking the plunge & extending your skills & experience with this course.

Sam, TAS

This course, designed and delivered by Renae, was insightful, engaging, informative and very student-centred. This student-centred approach promoted a friendly, supportive, and positive learning environment that was wholly self-paced and had all the benefits of in-class learning without the pressure. Additionally, the highly qualified guests featured throughout the course, combined with Renae’s extensive knowledge and experience, meant I could fully immerse myself in the content, knowing I was learning from some of the best in Australia and across America. I am so grateful to Renae for running a program that meets the needs of practitioners wanting to pursue play therapy while juggling study, family, and work. I highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to pursue a career in child-centered play therapy!

Sharni, SA

Renae provides a safe and supportive environment to ask questions and receive feedback. She teaches practical skills and techniques so the transition from student to play therapist is smooth. She encouraged me to reflect on my values and beliefs and how these will influence me as a play therapist. She emphasised the importance of self-care and connected me to other students for support and friendship. I highly recommend this course!

“When I booked a 15-minute chat with Renae, I was ready to grow my career but completely daunted by the idea of going back to study. She understood my passion for supporting children and their families, my curiosity towards psychology and neurobiology, and Child Centred Play Therapy seemed to be the perfect career to build on my past study and experience. The course was engaging, comprehensive, and flexible enough to maintain motivation while studying around work and family commitments. Upon completion I was feeling confident and competent, and it has been wonderful to watch my clients heal and fully embrace themselves. I would definitely recommend Play Therapy School!”

Play therapy is growing in demand all over Australia. If you live in a major city, you would likely find a private practice ready to employ or sub-contract you. If not, you would be able to open your own private practice as long as you have good supervision from an RPT-S along the way! There are also hospitals, schools and larger organisations such as ACF often looking for qualified Play Therapists.
