With four clinics located throughout South Australia, Play Therapy SA has become a trusted destination for families seeking expert guidance and support.
In addition to her clinical work, Renae also takes on the role of supervisor, offering group and individual supervision to Play Therapists across Australia and New Zealand. Renae's focus is on empowering her supervisees, building skills and confidence within themselves to best meet the needs of their clients.
Renae is also the founder and director of Play Therapy School, where she has developed a comprehensive clinical training program in Child-Centered Play Therapy. Through this course, Renae shares her wealth of knowledge and trains aspiring professionals, equipping them with the necessary skills to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
As a therapist, Renae primarily practices CCPT and integrates her years of experience and trainings into her sessions. She has qualifications in: Sandtray Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, Family Play Therapy, Theraplay, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy and Autplay Therapy.
As a supervisor, Renae focuses on listening to her supervisees, allowing them to bring their thoughts, concerns and questions to her as they see fit. Renae likes to ask open questions to help the supervisee to break down sessions and work out what is needed in that moment. Renae likes to use session recordings to watch, assess and give feedback on sessions (will all permissions in place of course). Renae has a wealth of knowledge in running a Play Therapy private practice and supports her supervisees to create a successful business and implement systems to increase productivity and flow.
